I have a high end, 16 core processor (Ryzen 5950x) and while searching the program only utilizes about 10% of it. Is there any way to let the program use more of the processor or is this a hard limit of the software right now? Also, can you combine results from the same file?

Hi Austin,
There's currently a cap on one thread per search, but we could look into increasing that so I've added it to our list.
For the combining, are you looking to have multile files found in a search result combined into one?

Specifically what I've observed is that zip/rar/7z files will have multiple separate results within the same zip/rar/7z file. I was thinking it would look much cleaner if all results within the zip/rar/7z were shown under the one result

We have an advanced setting called "Only show first result for each file", does that work for you?

Sorry it's in the Advanced tab on the main FileSeek search window

Not exactly what I want. I'd like to have all the results, but instead of having separate entries for results in the same file, have all the results from the same file grouped together under the same entry
Ah okay, I've added this to our feature request list. We don't guarantee that feature requests will be implemented, or offer timelines on possible implementation. We'll be sure to let you know if we do add it to our planned features in a future version.
Thanks!
