Hi,

I just purchased the Pro version and run into a weird issue. As you can see in the screenshot, the Include Files regex works perfectly. But whatever I put in the Exclude Files regex does not change the list of files. A valid regex or blank or just a dot produces the same results. Only a wrong regex (e.g. a single open parenthesis) displays a regex error popup but any valid regex does not work. Any idea ?

Thanks!

We were able to reproduce this issue here, and I've added it to our list. We'll be sure to let you know as soon as we're able to fix it up :)

In the meantime, if you change the Exclude Files option to Pattern Match, you can exclude those files by doing *.docx

Thanks!

Hi Keith,

Thanks, I'm glad you were able to reproduce it.

The docx regex was just an example. Obviously I need regex for much more complex exclusions otherwise I would have sticked to the standard pattern :-)

Let me know

We've just released FileSeek 6.0, and this issue should be all fixed up now :)
