Any way I can download FileSeek 6.0.1 still? In the new FileSeek 6.1 you require .NET Framework v4.7.1 which can't be installed on Windows 10 1511. They extended support for 1511 until April '18. Now that I updated to 6.1 I can't use FileSeek at all. :'(

Here you go! I have no idea why they support .NET 4.7.1 on Windows 7 but not on the older Windows 10 builds :/

Thank you so much! I know kind of crazy. I'm sure it's one of many ways Microsoft forces you to the newer versions.

Is this possibly the reason the I cannot get Fileseek 6.1 to work? Frustrating.

Windows 10 Home v.1709 - The explanation you gave me in an earlier email tells me why Fileseek didn't work. Again, the file was a Word doc and I did not turn on "use the file handler".

@Ed: What is the exact issue you're running into with FileSeek 6.1?
