  • Fix: Search tab controls no longer get scrambled with single instance mode enabled
  • Fix: Resolved an issue where the tab would be blank when using single instance mode and minimize to tray
  • Fix: Resolved an issue where RegEx queries didn't work if "Treat query text as one large query term" is enabled
  • Fix: No longer shows duplicate results if the same Path is entered twice on the Search tab
  • Fix: Status bar fix for 200% scaling

We encourage everyone to update to the new version today to take advantage of these improvements. If you would like to see a complete list of all the changes, please view the FileSeek Change Log. Hi. I just update to 6.3 version and the option "Windows Context Menu" when we right-click in a file is not working. I tried to go-back to my old version, but i can't find it.

Thanks!

@Harry: Is it not showing in the menu at all? Or it's there but when you click it, nothing happens?

Ok, if you open the FileSeek Settings, disable the "Show FileSeek in Windows Context Menu" option, apply the settings, then re-enable it, does that make any difference?

Ok, could you send us a debug log? Here are the steps:

Could you send me a debug log?
  • On the FileSeek Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • Try to open FileSeek via the Explorer right-click menu
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Hi Keith...
I think I was not clear on the problem I am having. After searching files, I click on a file found with the right mouse button and go to the Windows Context Menu option. When I click this option nothing happens. The problem is not in the explorer context menu when selecting FileSeek. Attached to the log.
Thanks

Ahhh, yep! Sorry for the confusion there! I was able to reproduce that issue and we've added it to our list to fix up for the next version.

Thanks!

We've just released a new FileSeek beta version (http://www.fileseek.ca/Download/Beta/) and the Windows Context Menu issue should be all fixed up. Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.

Thanks!
