Jon,

You may remember me as a beta tester for DisplayFusion. While I really like that product and have supported you by buying a license, I just want to say how great your FileSeek program is, and as a Vista laptop user, how incredibly essential it is to my sanity. Microsoft has tried to make their search easier incrementally since the wonderful interface they invented in Windows 95, and as is usual, they've made the target of their efforts less and less easy and less and less useful, until in Vista it is almost nightmarish. (Especially for notebook users, with indexing that you have to fight and can't quite turn completely off; it causes a constant thrashing of my harddisk even when running on battery.) FileSeek returns to the early paradigm and adds greatness with additional useful features. This is an essential utility, which as a programmer and a writer, I find very useful many times a week.

I would willingly pay for this program. I want you to know that.

Thank you for your support! I have no plans to ever start charging for FileSeek, I want it to be free for everyone to use. :)
