Hi,
I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 and I rather stupidly forgot to make a copy of my FileSeek profiles before I did it, (had a couple of nicely setup ones for hunting down all my video and DVD files). I have got the old hard drive that Windows 7 was on so can anyone tell me if the profiles are stored in a particular folder so that they can be copied onto my new OS installation.
Thanks

Hi Philip,

The settings are stored within the registry, so unfortunately those profiles aren't in a specific folder.

That being said, by default FileSeek will create a backup of the registry settings after each update and store them in your Documents folder, under "FileSeek Backups". If there are any files listed there, you should be able to copy those over and restore them.

Hope that helps!
