Hello Keith I am a programmer and have been using fileseek for ages now. Its still the best and never lets me down. Recently something odd is occuring, maybe something to do with microsoft .net updates dont know.
When Selecting stuff with the mouse, it does some annoying Smart select stuff - IE: I cant click mouse and move - selecting 1 character at a time which is what i REALLY want to do. Its auto-selecting words etc as i move the mouse. arrrrrrrrrgh. Wont select anything if I click+hold mouse and move
In all the input boxes: Path, Include Files, Query...etc, 1 click selects everything. Click again selects nothing. click and move doesnt do anything.
Only recently started happenning - after update to win 1903 I think, not happening in any other program just this one. I use fileseek A LOT and as you can probably tell its driving me bananas now.

Wow, yeah! It's doing that for me as well, that's really strange. Those are just standard .NET controls I believe, but I'll put this on our list to look into for the next version.

In the meantime, using Shift + Arrow Keys seems to work :)

Have exactly the same problem after the dotNET Update 4.8.
It is definitely the dotNET Update 4.8 that causes this problem. Everything was OK with version 4.7.2.

Keith When is a corrected version of Fileseek expected?

Also, balloon tips are no longer displayed.

Ok, thanks for the extra info! I can't offer an ETA at the moment, as this issue will either be really easy to fix, or really difficult, depending on where the problem lies. We will be sure to post an update as soon as it's all sorted out.

Thanks!
